The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra (Fort Worth, TX) will be performing Brighter Than the Flames on the concert for Memorial Day as part of the summer "Concert In the Garden" series. The concert will take place at 8:30 pm at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens.

February 12, 2023​

Fanfare and Caprice for 4 trumpets will be performed on the Spectrum chamber series concert in Fort Worth, TX. David will also be performing as one of the trumpet players. The concert will take place at 7 pm at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church.

I am happy to announce that after a successful interview process, I have accepted a position as Assistant Orchestra Librarian with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra!

The National Repertory Orchestra (Breckenridge, CO) will be performing Brighter Than the Flames on Saturday, July 10th as part of a program dedicated to firefighters, first-responders, and heroes. The concert will take place at 6 pm at the Lake Dillon Amphitheatre.

March 28, 2021

The Fort Worth Brass is performing 3 Movements from Bach's "Easter Oratorio" for brass sextet (arr. Sterrett), on their spring outdoor concert at 2 pm at the Aria Amphitheatre in Southlake, TX. They commissioned the arrangement in February.

Rhapsody for Trumpet and Piano, recorded on last year's album "Imagined Conversations: New Music for Trumpet and Piano with Percussion," was featured on WMNR Fine Arts Radio this morning during the Friday Morning Classics program. Thanks WMNR!

The Fort Worth Brass is performing 3 Anthems from Rachmaninoff's "All-Night Vigil" for brass sextet (arr. Sterrett), on their virtual Christmas concert tonight. They commissioned the arrangement back in October. Check out the audio samples from the concert here!

A new recording of Rhapsody for Trumpet and Piano was just released on the MSR Classics album "Imagined Conversations: New Music for Trumpet and Piano with Percussion," recorded by trumpeter Jesse Cook and pianist Edward Neeman.  The album is available on Amazon, MSR Classics, as well as iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube Music.

2 works - Brighter Than the Flames and the Wonder Woman main theme (arr. Sterrett)- will be performed by the Metropolitan Winds on their season opening concert "Heroes and Heroines." The concert will be in the auditorium of Little Elm High School at 2:30 pm.
